For our web services we charge $100 per hour it takes us to build your website. To give you some idea of how this looks compared to other companies in the web design business I'll explain a little of how it all works: airmobile.com (the site you are currently on) took 12 hours to build. I documented all of my time and what I did during the entire process so that it is clearly laid out and defined and there is no time at which I was signed in when I was not working on the website. This site is rather detailed with graphics, Flash links with sound and animation, and tables. Some of the site was also brought over from the old Air-Mobile site which made those areas go more quickly. (Anything you can give me that is already built [typed] causes me to do less work, therefore saving me time and you money.) Other website designers usually don't charge by the hour. They usually charge by the page. An average web design price would be around $800 for the first page and $300 for each aditional page (having researched the prices these figures are NORMAL for corporate websites - not high). Well, if a page was very simple to design those designers could be charging too much whereas if a page was very difficult to design the designer may not be getting what they've earned. By charging an hourly rate we cover all of our bases and can save the customer money if the page is very simple. At our current rate this website would have cost a client $1200 for 15 HTML pages complete with taking pictures, building graphics and creating Flash files. A competetor could have charged (using the $800 for page 1 + $300 for each consecutive page average) $5000 or more for this page! You've seen our work and you know our prices.
